Q: Is it possible to sample a class before I sign up for a whole term?

A: Yes, for those who want a taste of the action before diving in, we offer trial classes. It's a great way to see if our unique blend of aerial arts is right for you.

Q: Do you offer casual classes?

A: We sure do! We offer a variety of casual classes!  Check our timetable for our casual class options.

Stay in the loop: Keep an eye on our socials for announcements and info about casual class on Instagram

At Aerial Anarchy, whether you’re here once or every week, you’re part of the rebellion. 💥

Q: How can I book a class, and do I need to book in advance?

A: Booking online through our website is required to secure your spot in class. Ensure you book ahead to join the aerial excitement!

Q: What are the Aerial Anarchy membership tiers, and what do they include?

A: We have four membership tiers:

  • Bronze: $35/week for one course.

  • Silver: $45/week for one course and one additional class.

  • Gold: $55/week for one course and two additional classes.

  • Platinum: $65/week for one course, unlimited classes, 10% discount in our store and Creative Corner bookings.

Select the tier that aligns with your goals and budget!

Please note that memberships are committed for the full term and cannot be paused mid-term. However, you are welcome to end your membership at the conclusion of a term, should you wish to do so.

Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

A:  Your journey, your rules — we’re just here to make it work for you. Whether you’re ready to fly more often or need to slow things down, we’ve got flexible options to match your pace.

✨ Want to upgrade?

Craving more time in the air (or on the pole)? You can upgrade your membership anytime during your current term. Just purchase the new tier you’re eyeing, then shoot us a quick email so we can cancel your old one. Boom — more classes, more progress, more fun.

🌀 Need to downgrade?

Totally fair — sometimes less is more. If you’re looking to scale back, just purchase the new tier in week 8 and send us a message to let us know you’d like the old one cancelled.

Just a heads up: unused classes won’t roll over when you downgrade.

At Aerial Anarchy, we’re all about building a movement that works for your body, your schedule, and your goals. No pressure — just options.

Q: How long am I locked in with Aerial Anarchy?

A:  While we’d love to fly with you forever, here’s how it works:

When you join, you’re signing up for an 8-week term—so you’re only committed for that term. After that, your membership will automatically roll into the next 8-week block unless you let us know you’d like to stop.

No surprises—just more chances to keep flying with us!

If you have any questions or want more info, feel free to reach out.

You can also find our full membership terms and conditions [here].

Q: Can I cancel my membership or get a refund?

A:  At Aerial Anarchy, we run a tight (and fabulous) ship — our classes are intentionally small and carefully scheduled to give every student the attention, space, and quality experience they deserve. Because of this, all memberships are non-refundable.

However, we know that life isn’t always predictable. You’re welcome to cancel your membership at the end of your current term, no questions asked. We won’t lock you in — but we will give you every reason to stay.

Our commitment to you:

During your membership, we promise access to classes that suit your level, your goals, and your style — whether you’re flying high in aerials, spinning in heels, or building your strength from the ground up. We’re here to support your journey, not just your attendance.

Need help or have a unique situation? Reach out — we’re humans, not robots.

For the full details, see our [Terms and Conditions].

Q: Cancellations & Refunds

A:  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class cannot be refunded—no exceptions.

Our classes often have waitlists, and late cancellations mean another student misses out. Please be mindful when booking and cancel early if you can’t make

Q: What if I miss a class; what are my options?

A: If you miss a class, contact us to discuss possibilities like make-up sessions or class swaps. We’re flexible and want to ensure you get the most out of your aerial experience.

YOU

Find answers to questions about YOU below.

Q: I don’t have much fitness or coordination. Will I still be able to start classes?

A: Definitely! Our classes welcome individuals of all fitness levels. We start from the basics, ensuring you build strength and coordination at your own pace. Embrace the chaos and discover your power!

Q: I have no strength — should I get stronger before starting?

A: Nope, not at all! 💪😄 You don’t need to be strong to begin — that’s exactly what our classes are for. Whether it’s pole, aerials, or anything in between, we’ll help you build strength step by step. Just show up, have fun, and let the magic (and muscles) happen!

Q: I’m a curvier woman — can I do pole (or aerial)?

A: Absolutely — and we can’t wait to welcome you! 💫

At our studio, we don’t believe in a “pole body” or “aerial body” — we believe in your body, exactly as it is right now. Whether you’re curvier, on the larger side, or just don’t see yourself reflected in the usual fitness world, know this: you belong here.

Our classes are designed to meet you where you are — no pre-requisites, no assumptions. Just real people moving, learning, and getting stronger together. Our poles and aerial rigs are built to safely support all body types, and our instructors are trained to guide you with care, encouragement, and zero judgment.

This space is for everyBODY — and that includes you.

Q: What age must I be to take classes at Aerial Anarchy?

A: Our adult classes are open to those aged 16 and over.

Q: How do I prepare for my first class?

A: Make sure to hydrate well before class, avoid heavy meals 2 hours prior, and come with a positive attitude ready to learn and have fun! If you have any injuries or physical limitations, please inform your instructor before class begins.

Q: What do I wear to my first pole class at Aerial Anarchy ?

A:  Your first pole class is all about feeling strong, confident & ready to move-so what you wear makes a big difference! Here's what we recommend to help you get the most out of your session:

Bottoms:

Pole shorts/pants are ideal for grip, but if you're just starting out, rolled-up leggings or even bikini bottoms can work too. Avoid long, loose or baggy pants-they can get in the way of movement & limit your skin contact with the pole (which is key for grip!).

Tops:

A fitted top or sports bra is perfect. These give you freedom to move & allow your instructor to see your form so they can guide you safely.

Steer clear of oversized or slippery tops that might ride up or block your movement.

Shoes:

We train barefoot in beginner classes— especially when you're learning tricks & grips.

As you get more confident, feel free to bring pole heels or boots with ankle straps for style classes or advanced sessions.

Things to Avoid:

  • No moisturisers or sunscreen on the day of class-they're likely to make the pole slippery & unsafe.

  • Take off all jewellery before class to avoid scratching the pole or damaging your jewellery.

  • Avoid slippery or silky fabrics-they won't give you the grip you need.

Final Tip:

Wear something that makes you feel powerful, comfortable, & ready to have fun. For beginner classes, fitted leggings and any top are totally fine. As you progress, you'll likely want to switch to pole-specific shorts & a sports bra for better grip and freedom.

Q: What heels should I wear for exotic and pole dance heels classes?

A:  For beginner pole dancers, the right heels are essential for safety, comfort, and building confidence. Most dancers start with 7-inch platform heels, which offer a good balance of height and stability. If you’re not comfortable with that height yet, you can start lower and work your way up.

What to look for in pole heels:

Heel Height:

  • 7 inches – Ideal for beginners: tall enough to practice technique and build strength

  • 6 inches – Sometimes too low for exotic movement

  • 8 inches – Great once you’re more confident

  • Platform: Helps with balance and reduces strain

  • Ankle Support: Choose styles with ankle straps or go for ankle boots for a snug, supportive fit

  • Comfort & Fit: Make sure your shoes fit well and allow you to move with control

  • Style: Experiment with different styles (boots vs. sandals) to find what feels best

Popular beginner-friendly brands include Pleaser and Pole Sins.

Start with what feels manageable, and you’ll build strength, confidence, and style as you go!
