Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Beginner 1 Pole

Never touched a pole before? Start here.

Beginner 1 is designed for complete beginners - no strength, flexibility or dance experience required.

You’ll learn your first spins, sits, climbs, grips, transitions and beginner pole tricks while building the strength and confidence you need to progress.

Expect plenty of laughs, probably a few bruises, and that slightly addictive feeling of doing something you genuinely didn’t think your body could do.

Perfect for: Complete beginners
Experience needed: None
Static + spin pole: Yes

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Intermediate Pole

Welcome to the upside-down era.

Intermediate Pole introduces more complex inverted tricks, combinations, transitions, strength-based skills and flexibility tricks.

You’ll work on cleaner entries and exits, longer combinations and greater control on both static and spin pole.

This level is challenging - but also where many of those pole tricks you’ve been watching online finally start becoming possible.

Prerequisite: Solid foundational pole skills and confident basic inversions.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Exotic Foundations

Want to learn Exotic movement without having to remember choreography at the same time?

Start here.

Exotic Foundations breaks movement down into individual skills, techniques and mini combinations so you can understand how things work before trying to put everything together.

We work on:

Floorwork and basework
Pole transitions
Slides, stands, walks and pathways
Heels technique
Tricks commonly used within Exotic choreography
Fluidity and movement quality
Mini combinations
Freestyle confidence
There is no set choreography in this class.

Perfect for beginners, students wanting to improve their technique, or anyone who wants to feel more confident walking into an Exotic choreography class.

Heels: Recommended
Knee pads: Required - available at the studio

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Anarchy Hour

Same class. Different flavour every week.

Anarchy Hour is our dance wildcard.

One week might be heels. The next could be commercial dance, floorwork, contemporary, chair, lyrical, sexy choreography or something completely unexpected.

There’s no long-term syllabus and no pressure to already know the style.

Just turn up, learn something new and move.

Perfect for: Anyone who likes variety and doesn’t want their dance classes too predictable.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Aerial Hammock

Hammock uses a loop of aerial fabric rather than two separate silks, giving you support while still letting you spin, suspend, stretch and create shapes in the air.

Classes combine elements of aerial technique, movement, flexibility and conditioning.

It’s playful, surprisingly challenging and a great introduction to aerial arts.

Perfect for: Beginners and experienced aerialists alike.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Stretch + Flex

Want to become more flexible without just sitting in a split and hoping for the best?

Flex classes work on active and passive flexibility, mobility, control and range of movement using structured exercises and stretching techniques.

Different sessions may focus on areas including splits, hips, hamstrings, shoulders and back flexibility.

You do not need to already be flexible.

That would rather defeat the purpose.

Perfect for: All levels.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Beginner 2 Pole

You know the basics. Now we start building on them.

Beginner 2 introduces more challenging spins, climbs, combinations, strength work and transitions while continuing to develop control and technique.

You’ll begin linking movements together more confidently and start preparing your body for the skills that come later — including going upside down.

Perfect for: Students who have completed Beginner 1 or have equivalent experience.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Advanced Pole

For experienced pole dancers ready to push technique, strength, creativity and endurance.

Advanced classes explore challenging tricks, unusual entries and exits, intricate transitions, flexibility skills, strength moves and longer combinations.

There’s also room to work on those spectacular nemesis tricks that have been haunting you for six months.

Expect problem solving, conditioning, experimentation and plenty of “WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?” moments.

Prerequisite: Strong Intermediate pole foundations.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Exotic Floor & Basework Routines

Not everything impressive happens six feet in the air.

Floor + Basework focuses on movement around the base of the pole and across the floor — think legwork, rolls, slides, turns, transitions, shapes and low-flow combinations.

You’ll learn short sequences that help improve coordination, mobility and confidence without needing advanced pole tricks.

Heels, platforms or socks depending on the class.

Perfect for: All levels.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Lyra / Aerial Hoop

Lyra is the circular steel hoop suspended in the air — and yes, it’s as fun as it looks.

Learn mounts, poses, spins, transitions and combinations inside, underneath and around the hoop while developing strength, flexibility and aerial technique.

Classes progress from foundational skills through to more dynamic and advanced sequences.

Perfect for: Beginners through experienced aerialists, depending on the class level.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Aerial Chains

Exactly what it sounds like.

Suspended chains. Aerial tricks. A little bit unhinged.

Chains combines strength, shapes, transitions and aerial movement on one of our most unusual apparatus.

You’ll learn how to safely work with the chains while developing grip strength, body awareness and creative aerial technique.

If traditional aerial apparatus aren’t quite chaotic enough for you, you may have found your class.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Handstands + Inversions

Handstands. Shoulder stands. Arm balances. Inversions. Acro.

Basically: come learn fun ways to be upside down.

Power Play is a 60-minute strength and skills class focused on core strength, balance, body control and inversion technique.

Whether you’re working towards your first handstand or trying to clean up one you already have, exercises can be adapted to different levels.

Perfect for: All levels.

Wear something comfortable that you can move — and go upside down — in.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Beginners 3 Pole

This is where things really start getting exciting.

Beginner 3 builds stronger climbs, trick combinations, transitions and introductory inverted skills while developing the strength and control needed for Intermediate Pole.

You’ll spend more time connecting tricks together rather than simply learning them in isolation.

Perfect for: Confident Beginner 2 students ready for their next challenge.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Exotic / Heels Choreographpy

Learn choreography, get out of your head and into your body.

Our Exotic classes combine pole, heels, floorwork, basework and dance into routines designed to make you feel confident, powerful and sexy.

You’ll develop musicality, movement quality, transitions and your own personal style while learning choreography from different Aerial Anarchy instructors.

You absolutely do not need to already know how to dance.

That’s why you’re coming to class.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Dance + Heels

Pole doesn’t have to be about tricks.

These classes are about learning how to move — finding your style, musicality, confidence and connection to your body.

Some classes involve choreography. Others teach the individual skills you can use to create movement of your own.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Aerial Silks

Climb it. Wrap it. Hang from it. Eventually drop from it.

Silks uses two long pieces of aerial fabric to create climbs, wraps, poses, sequences and dynamic skills in the air.

Beginners start with foundational grips, climbs, foot locks and shapes while developing the strength and technique needed for more complex aerial skills.

No previous aerial experience is required for beginner-level classes.

Pole Dancing or Aerial Class

Mixed Aerials

Can’t pick one apparatus?

Don’t.

Mixed Aerials gives you the opportunity to train across different aerial apparatus and develop a broader range of aerial skills.

Depending on the class and instructor, you may work with Lyra, Silks, Hammock, Chains or other apparatus available in the studio.

Build strength, technique, flexibility and confidence while experiencing more of the aerial world.
